Shaheen is back in service

Dear Shaheen Users,

 

We would like to inform you that the Shaheen system is now back in service following the successful completion of the scheduled maintenance.

 

As part of the operating system (OS) update, the Cray Programming Environment (CPE) has been updated to include newer versions of compilers and libraries.

We recommend recompiling all your applications, as all software and libraries listed via module avail have been rebuilt and linked with CPE 25.03.

- Older CPE versions 24.07 and 24.11 ...

Reminder: Shaheen maintenance (7-8 Dec) and IT license server outage (4-5 Dec)

Dear Shaheen Users,

Please see the reminder about planned Shaheen maintenance next week.

We would like to inform you of an upcoming planned maintenance session for Shaheen, scheduled to begin at 08:00 on Sunday, December 7, 2025, and expected to conclude by the end of Monday, December 8, 2025.

This maintenance window is required to support ongoing system improvements and infrastructure updates. During this outage, we are planning to upgrade the programming environment to the latest version. Access to the login nodes and user files will be maintained ...
