Dear Shaheen Users,
We would like to inform you that the Shaheen system is now back in service following the successful completion of the scheduled maintenance.
As part of the operating system (OS) update, the Cray Programming Environment (CPE) has been updated to include newer versions of compilers and libraries.
We recommend recompiling all your applications, as all software and libraries listed via module avail have been rebuilt and linked with CPE 25.03.
Please note the following:
- Older CPE versions 24.07 and 24.11 remain available for now but will be removed in the future.
- A newer CPE 25.09 is also available, though it is not set as the default.
