Dear Shaheen Users,

We would like to inform you that the Shaheen system is now back in service following the completion of the 1st scheduled maintenance.
In this maintenance, we did the initial work to integrate the GPU Slingshot network into the system, you may now resume using the system as usual.

We would also like to remind you of the upcoming remaining planned 2nd outage required to extend the project filesystem from 1st Sept 8:00AM to 5th Sept 5:00PM.

  • During this second outage, Shaheen will remain available but only the /scratch filesystem will be accessible.
    The project filesystem will be taken offline for the extension work.

Please note that the GPU system will not enter production during this phase. This extended outage is critical to enable the next stage of Shaheen’s development.
We kindly ask all users and PIs to plan their work accordingly and thank you for your understanding and support during this essential upgrade.
