The KAUST Supercomputing Lab will hold the “Shaheen III HPC Training”, on Tuesday, 10 September 2024, in the Auditorium 0215, Between buildings 2 and 3. External participants will be contacted with details for remote access to the training session.
The aim of this training is to provide current and future users of the new Shaheen III, HPE-Cray EX Supercomputer, with an introductory overview of the system, including access and usage. Participants will learn about the programming enviroment, the available software and tools and recent changes to storage, helping them to efficiently utilize their allocated resources.

- 11:25am Best practices
- 11:35–12pm Q&A and Open Discussion
In addition, in the afternoon, training sessions on various scientific topics including Chemistry/Physics/Material Science, Computational Fluid Dynamics, DataScience, Atmospheric Science, and Performance/profiling/debugging, will be scheduled starting at 1:30pm until 5pm. The sessions will be in MPR Room (Bldg. 1, desert side, Level 2).
